Born in Swarthmore, PA 1998.

Currently in NY.

I create work to try and answer my own questions:

• How does craft strengthen and enrich the social fabric of a community?

• What is beauty, why is it everywhere, and what is it for?

• How does time and history interact with a material’s physical properties?

Inspiration for my work is typically teed off by elements in our everyday lives: tan-lines, folk music, dirt, raw emotion, our failures, tradition, and the tension between formality and informality.

Perhaps you can see the essence of my English background wrung through the lens of Wyoming and Delaware — places that have influenced me the most.
